Pietratorcia wine cellars

Pietratorcia wine cellars are among the best Italian wine producers. They originate in Forio, on the western slope of the island of Ischia, thanks to the dedication of young people who again appreciate the value of the traditions of the ancient island families: Iacono, Regine and Verde. The old family cellars have been restructured and equipped, the 7 hectars of land have been planted again with select vines and today, thanks to the technical help of the San Michele all’Adige Institute, precious wines are prepared in small quantities. Their efforts have encouraged other islanders to take up the enological tasks that were previously undertaken by the inhabitants of Ischia on  Mount Epomeo.
