The Hotel

The main house with its special form as a ship’s tip extends to the left side to the stunning “Citara”-Bay with its picturesque beach and the largest thermal gardens in Europe , the Poseidon Gardens. To the right side the view touches the bay  of Cava dell’Isola , a dreamlike bay and favourite meeting place for young people. Both from Citara beach and from the Cava dell’Isola-bay you can enjoy spectacular sunsets.

The hotel complex consists of a main building which houses some rooms and a restaurant with 2 panoramic halls. The bar with its unique large terrace with stunning views over the Bay of Citara invites you to stay any time of the year. In the large park and garden various rooms buildings are embedded between  palm trees , olive trees and Mediterranean plants  where our guests can spend a pleasant holiday.

The Hotel Terme Royal Palm is located about 1.5 km from the center of Forio , which can be reached in about 25 minutes by a walk along the seaside. A bus stop is located 200 metres up the hill. You can get to all parts of the island by public transportation.

In Forio you will find architectural landmarks. Different towers and landmarks remember of the time of the Saracens. The numerous churches and chapels , especially  the well-known Soccorso ‘s Church above the sea is worth a visit.

In Hotel Terme Royal Palm you will find everything you need for your well-being: thermal baths  (1 outdoor thermal pool and 2 indoor pools) , large sun terraces, health and beauty center with mud therapy, massages, inhalation and aerosol therapy as well as cosmetic treatments.

The Pool

4 pools (3 during winter time) with thermal water from own source are waiting for you to experience moments of absolute well-being : 1 large thermal pool (30 ° C – 35 ° C) is located outdoors with a large sun terrace surrounded by bouganvilleas and palm trees (another pool with mineral water is only open during summer time) and 2 indoor pools with thermal water of different temperatures (34 ° C – 38 ° C) with sunbeds and chairs are in the main building of the hotel .

Restaurant

What could be nicer than to enjoy a good meal with a nice view. The 2 large dining rooms  “Cava dell’Isola ” and ” Citara” with the smaller halls ” Punta  Imperatore ” and ” Gazebo ” are located in a panoramic position facing the sea. Our chefs will treat all palates . You can expect a wide variety of cuisine , from traditional Mediterranean to international cuisine .

Bar

There are two bars, one on the rooftop terrace and the other on the edge of one of the swimming pools, where you can enjoy tasty drinks accompanied by little things good.

The Therme

Forio is the community on the island of Ischia with the largest number of thermal springs. Hotel Terme Royal Palm uses the resource of thermal water in a separate well-equipped and modern spa center with qualified personnel , which takes care of your well-being with a good range of treatments and therapies . In our wellness center (fee ) with sauna, steam bath, emotional shower, ice fountain and relaxation room you can relax in a pleasant atmosphere.
